Get the most out of your S550 by installing these Saleen S302 Lowering Springs which lower your vehicle’s center of gravity to improve body roll, reduce squat, and minimize nose-diving! Not only do these springs help with performance, but they also lower your Mustang by 1.5 inches in the front and 1.3 inches in the back. http://www.americanmuscle.com/saleen-…
Designed for Performance. If you want to get the most out of your 2015+ Mustang S550 GT, installing these Lowering Springs from Saleen is one of the most effective things you can do. They lower your vehicle’s center of gravity, which will improve body roll when you’re cornering, reduce squat when you’re accelerating and minimize nose-diving when you brake hard. In fact, you’ll notice a difference in handling immediately, whether you use your GT on the track, for street racing or just to run errands.
Improve Your Stance. These S302 Lowering Springs won’t just up your performance, they’ll also add a sleek, streamlined look to your GT. If yours is a fastback, you’ll get 1.5 inches lower in the front and 1.3 inches lower in the back. For the GT Convertible, Saleen’s springs will yield a difference of 1.6 inches in the front and 1.4 inches in the rear, giving it a leaner, more muscle car appearance.
Clears Stock and Aftermarket Wheels & Tires. These lowering springs were engineered to be compatible with your stock size wheels and tires, as well as AmericanMuscle’s pre-configured wheel and tire combo kits (specific to your generation), to assure proper clearance with no rubbing issues.
Made in the USA. Saleen was founded in 1983 in Corona, California and has been dedicated to being an All-American company ever since then. That’s why they make these Lowering Springs right here in the USA.
Application. These Saleen S302 Lowering Springs are an OEM replacement for the Saleen S302, but they’re designed to fit any 2015-2017 S550 Mustang GT 5.0L V8 Convertible or Fastback (Coupe).
Fitment: 2015 2016 2017

These Saleen S281 “Extreme” Mustangs were Saleen’s last real hurrah. They are the most powerful and rare variant of Saleen’s line of modified Mustangs. They claimed 600 horsepower from a supercharged 4.6L V8, although according to the owner of this clean example, it made nowhere near that when they got it. This one now makes 500 wheel horsepower with a soundtrack to match.

On “My Car Story” we’re in South Barrington IL at The Arboretum of South Barrington for the Supercar Saturdays Event on 8-6-16.
We’re looking at a 2006 Ford Mustang Saleen S281 CI Engine Supercharged in Torch Red Paint.
The car’s Owner is Richard Gonzalez. Richard is with his son Gino today at the car show. Richard purchased the car in 2015. He shares he likes the car because it was a “Dream Car” for him. His Son Gino likes it because, “It’s Red, Fast & Really Rare”.
I’m glad to see dreams do come true.

Whew! The first weekend of June described with a single word. 2016 marked our eighth consecutive year hosting Saleen owners during the Ford Nationals by Carlisle Events. There were an estimated 53 (or 54) Saleen manufactured vehicles on the fairgrounds to proudly display Power In The Hands of a Few to all showgoers. A collection of Saleen Mustangs ranging from the initial 1985 production year to the latest 2016 S302. Of special note was the appearance of 88-0020R from Performance Autosport’s proprietor Mark LaMaskin. A reminder of Saleen Automotive’s accomplished motorsport history.
Event support appreciation to Rudy & Betsy Beyer for their tireless effort operating the SOEC tent and assistance with S302 new car delivery during the show. Lastly, gratitude to all participants, enthusiasts and owners that make these events so special.
