Whew! The first weekend of June described with a single word. 2016 marked our eighth consecutive year hosting Saleen owners during the Ford Nationals by Carlisle Events. There were an estimated 53 (or 54) Saleen manufactured vehicles on the fairgrounds to proudly display Power In The Hands of a Few to all showgoers. A collection of Saleen Mustangs ranging from the initial 1985 production year to the latest 2016 S302. Of special note was the appearance of 88-0020R from Performance Autosport’s proprietor Mark LaMaskin. A reminder of Saleen Automotive’s accomplished motorsport history.
Event support appreciation to Rudy & Betsy Beyer for their tireless effort operating the SOEC tent and assistance with S302 new car delivery during the show. Lastly, gratitude to all participants, enthusiasts and owners that make these events so special.
