2009 MY, 2nd Racecraft Product Unveiling, SpeedLab SuperShaker

The Saleen Headquarters Open House event will serve as a kickoff for the 2009 MY vehicles as well as the introduction of another Racecraft branded product. The Saleen SpeedLab SuperShaker will be debuted at this event as well.
There will be a continental breakfast served from 9:00am-9:30am followed by a press conference and vehicle unveiling. At the conclusion of the press conference all journalists will be given media kits and an opportunity to test drive the vehicles.
The following day we are inviting members of the media to join us on Woodward Avenue to enjoy the 14th Annual Dream Cruise. The Saleen booth will be located at the Bridgestone/Firestone building on the corner of Woodward and Coolidge. We will have Saleen and Racecraft vehicles on display as well as SpeedLab products. 101 WRIF (the #1 radio station in Detroit) will be broadcasting live and giving out promotional items from our location all day. Additionally, Rockstar Games will be onsite conducting game demos of the upcoming Midnight Club Los Angeles featuring Saleen vehicles. The festivities will kickoff at 8:30am and continue throughout the day ending at 7pm. We will be offering hospitality with food and beverages from 12:00pm-2pm.

Who: Steve Saleen, racing hero and founder of Saleen, Inc., the specialty vehicle manufacturer of the Saleen S281 Mustang, the N2O Focus, and the S7 supercar.
What: Steve Saleen has lived the dream of auto enthusiasts. He has modified, raced, and won with vehicles at various levels of auto racing. Now, Saleen manufactures the world’s fastest production vehicle — the 750 hp S7, a vehicle featured in the movie “Bruce Almighty,” starring Jim Carrey. Saleen, who knows how to design and create the demand for more horsepower with clean, aggressive styling, will be at the Woodward Dream Cruise. Background on Steve Saleen:
Steve Saleen holds 13 SCCA Formula Atlantic Championship records and won the 1991 SCCA Race Truck Championship in a Ford Ranger. Saleen has also tested his racing skills in the SCCA Trans-Am Championship and the CART/PPG Indy Car series.
In 1984, Steve Saleen formed Saleen Autosport and improved the performance and look of the Mustang. Shortly after Saleen Autosport was formed, he completed his first Saleen. Proving that his design and performance could hold its own with the world’s best sports cars, Saleen brought home a win at the grueling 24-hour race in Mosport, Canada.
Saleen has also introduced designs of the Explorer and Focus. Saleen unveiled the Saleen S7 supercar — the world’s fastest production car.
Just want to remind everyone about next weekend for the Woodward Dreamcruise. It is a one day event on Sat the 16th. A Celebration of Cars, Music and Cruising Oldies
Birmingham, Mich., August 16, 2002 — The first road going Saleen S7 mid engine supercar will make an appearance at The Woodward Dream Cruise on Saturday, August 17, 2002.
The mid-summer Woodward Dream Cruise is a celebration of the cars, the music and the memories of cruising in the Fifties and Sixties on Woodward Avenue in Detroit, the city that put America on wheels.
The Lizstick Red S7 will be on display along with five specially painted Saleen Mustangs for the cruise and a collection of legendary Saleen Mustangs from the Saleen Owners and Enthusiasts Club at the Saleen/Jerome-Duncan Ford hospitality area located at Papa Joe’s Market, 34244 Woodward Ave., Birmingham, Mich. 48009 (east side of Woodward just South of Maple). Cars will be on display from 7am to 11pm.
The Saleen S7, America’s first true supercar, competes with the fastest, quickest, best handling and most exotic sports cars in the world. It is designed, engineered, manufactured andmarketed by Saleen, Inc., a high-performance vehicle manufacturer headquartered in Irvine, Calif.
The S7 is powered by Saleen-designed all-aluminum 7Iiter V8 generating 550 horsepower at 6400 rpm and delivering 520 foot-pounds of torque at 4000 rpm. And in true supercar fashion, the S7 is capable of speeds exceeding 200 miles per hour, with a zero-to-60 time of less than four seconds.
The Lizstick Red Saleen S7 at the Woodward Dream Cruise is owned by Jerry and Kathy Ritzow of Milwaukee, Wisc. , who will be special guests of Saleen for the weekend.
