YACHTING SHANGHAI 2015

The International Marine Expo Presented In Monaco

PORT HERCULES, Monaco, September 26, 2014 / PRNewswire / – Hosted by Shanghai Yuanzhou Culturals Communication Company Limited, the inaugural press conference of Yachting Shanghai 2015 – The International Marine Expo will be held on September 26th in Monaco during the Monaco Yacht Show, event in which will be disclosed for the first time important information. It is also the first show nautical extraordinary in China targeted to the marine industry.

International Marine Expo has collected an international consensus supported by resources from the World Expo. The exhibition area is located at the pier of the L6 Expo Avenue, Pudong New Area and the French Pavilion, Shanghai, China. The exhibition is divided into an area for a yacht of high level, an area dedicated to the experience of living coastal and other themed areas, and the festival of the water park, a mix of marine resources and the territory, it is the first event of its kind in Asia and worldwide. In addition, the opening of the exhibition’s public boat show even closer to the public the nautical culture in China. This International Marine Expo will also enable participants to share their culture of surfing.

Pony Trails
July 17th -Pony Trails – Depart from Bellevue College – Driver’s meeting at 9:45am.

Take your Pony on scenic cruise on the backroads of the Cascades with other fellow Ford enthusiasts. We will depart from Bellevue College and head to Monroe and Highway 2. From Monroe, the cruise will take the backroads to end up in Roslyn. Driver’s Meeting will be at 9:45 a.m. at the college. Come with a full take of gasoline, but there will be places to stop along the way. There will be a 50/50 pot with ticket sales at the college and in Roslyn and the drawing at 3 p.m. in Roslyn. See you on July 17th!

SALEEN AUTOMOTIVE SIGNS PROGRESSIVE LICENSING AGREEMENT FOR CARS AND PARTS

EXPANDS MARKETING AND DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT
WITH GREENTECH AUTOMOTIVE, INC.

Following up the successful debut of the Saleen model lineup at the Shanghai Auto Show, Saleen Automotive and GreenTech Automotive, Inc. (GTA) have expanded their existing marketing and distribution agreement through the signing of a new Intellectual Property License Agreement. This agreement includes expanded distribution as well as an exclusive Saleen brand and technology licensing agreement for the Asian market.

Since the initial marketing and distribution agreement, executed March 2014, GTA has fully campaigned the lineup of Saleen vehicles at the Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, and Shanghai Autoshows to much fanfare and local market brand acceptance.

“Just getting a little attention in any market can sometimes take decades of persistence,” said Steve Saleen, CEO of Saleen Automotive. “GTA and their team have managed to quickly bring Saleen into the forefront of the performance market in China, and have proven that they are dedicated to the continuing expansion of the Saleen brand and product distribution in the rest of Asia.”

A new entity, Saleen Motors International (SMI), which is a wholly owned subsidiary of GTA and not affiliated with Saleen, will be used by GTA to distribute Saleen branded products.

With China’s automotive market being the largest in the world with 19.71 million new cars sold last year and with global automotive sales slated to reach 117 million new cars annually by 2020, according to JD Power, this marketing, distribution, and licensing agreement couldn’t have come at a better time.

Home to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is where I reside. Growing up as a tomboy hasn’t changed much these days, I still want to do those same things. Go fast, get dirty and never come inside.

My mother drove a 1970 Grabber Blue Mach 1 and my father owned many types of muscle cars including the Mustang. When I was young all I remember ever wanting was to be a race car driver. I remember the year I got my first race track to assemble when I was a little girl, I was fascinated. Mustangs, racing and competing have always been a part of who I am.

In 2011, I purchased my first Mustang, a 2008 Saleen S281 #26. When the deal was sealed, I packed an overnight bag and headed to Georgia the very next day. For many years, the Mustang was a show car, last year all that changed. I wanted to see how the Mustang would perform on the 1320. The first pass became an addition that I have embraced and continued. I love making passes and the challenge of a manual is exhilarating.

Last year, I competed in True Street and this year I am competing in the NMRA’s Super Stang Class. Running on the Pro Tree and up against some of the baddest guys with some impressive records was a bit intimidating at first, but I am taking all that in stride and becoming a better racer by the day. Racing, writing and taking pictures of Mustangs makes me happy, it’s my passion and a dream come true.
