Foxtoberfest will host over 400 Fox-Body Mustangs in 2019!
Foxtoberfest is not your traditional car show; we welcome all Fox-Bodies regardless of their restoration stage. You’ll see beautiful low-mileage show cars right next to multi-colored projects and that’s the way we like it! This is a feel-good, cruise-in type show where Fox fans can come together and experience a sense of community. Last year, even with Hurricane Michael blowing through two days prior, we hosted 416 Foxes and we are hoping to break 500 this year! The show features a popular vote format where registered show participants decide who receives the coveted trophies for classes like “1987-93 Best Original” as well as the give-aways like “Most In Need of Upholstery”. We have an All-Fox Swap Meet that will happen on Friday night AND Saturday! Bring your cash because you are sure to find some treasures out there! We will also have a section for Foxes For Sale on Friday night and Saturday too, so maybe bring a little extra cash, wink wink. Fox-Body parts, new and used, will be available for sale at the event as well as a huge stock of Mustang and Ford logo accessories like hats, shirts, belts, dog collars, you name it! Don’t forget to get your limited edition Foxtoberfest event t-shirts! The address for the car show is Intimidators Stadium, 2888 Moose Rd, Kannapolis, NC 28083.

We will contact you for sizing. Only 40 VIP Experiences available. Registration ends 9/15/2019 and will not be available at the show.

This October, Saleen Owners and Enthusiasts Club (SOEC) is proud to participate in National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer is one of the most common kinds of cancer in women after skin cancer. About 1 in 8 women born today in the United States will get breast cancer at some point.
This month, the SOEC will be honoring and featuring the women of Saleen. In their honor and to highlight the importance of awareness, prevention, and early detection, we will be holding several sweepstakes throughout October. The SOEC will be giving away (for free) Saleen posters, SOEC Club decals, and a 2019 Saleen Open House & Car Show registrant bag. Look for our featured woman of Saleen, which will begin a new sweepstakes.
We hope that you get involved and make a donation to one of the registered 501(c)(3), breast cancer charities.

SALEEN CUP RACING SERIES ADVANCES AT ROAD AMERICA
14 drivers competed at Road America on Sept 21, for the penultimate round of Saleen’s single-make racing series, driving the new Saleen 1 model
Paul Terry of Nephi, Utah and Austin Riley of Ontario, Canada lead 2019 points heading into the Saleen Cup series finale in Las Vegas in mid-October
ELKHART LAKE, Wisc. (Sept 23, 2019) — The battle for points continued in the penultimate round of the Saleen Cup, held at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisc. September 21 as 14 drivers competed in the single-make racing series by California-based Saleen Automotive.
The Saleen Cup series was introduced to demonstrate the new Saleen 1 sports car while offering a turnkey racing experience for drivers in two distinct classes. The “Pro-Am Drivers” class includes experienced racing drivers, while a “Young Drivers” class gives prospective young drivers an opportunity to start a career in professional motorsports. Category champions in the Saleen Cup will each secure a factory seat driving in Saleen’s GT4 entry for the entire 2020 season.
Mathew Keegan of Ladera Ranch, Calif. stood atop the podium in the “Pro-Am Drivers” class after Saturday’s race, while Carter Fartuch of Schnecksville, Penn. took top position in the “Young Drivers” class after highly competitive race at the historic Wisconsin circuit. A second race scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 22 was canceled due to inclement weather.
Road America Results – Saturday, Sept 21:
Pro-Am Drivers
Young Drivers
The Road America races mark the third of four events in the 2019 Saleen Cup schedule, culminating in a grand finale event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Oct. 18-20. As the initial return to professional-level motorsports for Saleen Automotive, the Saleen Cup series will pave the way for the company’s first entry into GT4 in 2020.
“Our team and drivers have made immense progress during the past few events,” said Steve Saleen, CEO and founder of Saleen Automotive. “The close points race is proof of the caliber of drivers that are competing in the inaugural series and based on the lap times we’ve recorded this season, the Saleen 1 will be very competitive in GT4 next year.”
