This is an extremely rare Saleen. Only 4 of these were ever built according to the Saleen registry.
The best, highest performing Saleen from this era. Saleen started with a Mustang GT and completely reworked it. Engine redone with reworked heads, revised cams and valve springs making it capable of 7500 rpm reliable performance. Revised intake with cold air shaker hood, reprogrammed computer, low restriction exhaust, etc to deliver 510 naturally aspirated HP. Completely reworked S4 Racecraft suspension, bigger brakes , custom 19″-9″front and 19″- 10″ rear wheels with Pirelli P Zero performance tires. 6 Speed MT-82 transmission, 6 piston front brakes,Adjustable coil over struts and shocks, and S4 front and rear sway bars.
Both the interior and exterior received numerous upgrades most noticeable the Heritage paint scheme which mimics the 1969 Follmer #16 Trans Am car. The dash is signed by both George Follmer and Steve Saleen.

Up for sale is a very clean and low mile 1998 Saleen S351 Convertible. Yes it’s a real Saleen! 1 of 1 car as you can see in the letter of authenticity I bought from Saleen. Super low miles as you can see.
The car runs and drives perfect. I just had the engine and trans pulled and had it completely resealed. It had some oil leaks when I acquired the car. Convertible top is in great condition, and the motor for the top works great. The car has been under a car cover in a temperature controlled garage for the last two years and driven a couple times a month to keep all the fluids moving.

Recaro cloth seats on the interior. I purchased a complete decal kit from Saleen when I got the car so all the decals are brand new. OK! so what isn’t perfect. The Speedster cover was not with the car when I acquired the car. Nor the roll bar. Last thing is the rear wing. Its not the S351 wing that is commonly seen on these cars. I called Saleen and spoke with Molly Saleen for about an hour and a half. She verified that the spoiler that is on the car is the one the customer ordered when she personalized the car. Original owner was named Beatrice. If any of you have a Saleen Registry you will be able to find this information.

Most folks in our hobby are aware of the exclusivity of Saleen production vehicles. Rare and uncommon sights throughout daily life. What some may not realize are how the vehicle assets and “extra” items are rarer than the physical automobile.
Case in point are the early Saleen Mustang Owners Jackets. These jackets were issued to new owners after they returned their survey card to Saleen Autosport regarding their new vehicle purchase.

Here is an absolutely stunning 1995 Mustang Saleen S351 R Code Supercharged Coupe in basically brand new condition inside and out. This car is completely all original and untouched with only 1,600 original miles on it. It is one of the finest, untouched, original ’95 S351s on the planet. It has been in the hands of only two collectors since new, where it was always bought to be a future collectors item. The car was put in the garage under a car cover, driven sparingly, never modified or hot rodded in any way. It even has floor mats over the factory Saleen floor mats to protect them. This is number 121 of only 126 Saleens built in 1995 which makes it ultra rare. I was told this was the last S351 Coupe built and one of only a few Laser red ones built, but you would have to verify that. The ’95 S351 was one of the most desired, talked about and most sought after Mustang Saleens ever built. This was the original beast that put Saleen on the map. This is a high desirable collectors item that will only rise in value, kept in this stunning condition. As most have been driven, wrecked or modified, this is one of the last true virgins in existence. The S351 came both naturally aspirated and supercharged and this is the factory supercharged one bumping the horsepower from 371hp to an astonishing 480hp. This car was one of the fastest production cars of the 1990’s even topping the viper in 1995. Motor trend called this car the thundering, plundering, viper-eating monstrosity!
This Saleen has most all its original paperwork, which includes its original window sticker, Saleen aftermarket docs and owners manuals. It has perfect, clean Carfax showing its flawless history. This is Saleen # 89-0526 with just a little over 26K miles. It is 1 of 1 built with white exterior/grey interior, factory sunroof, 327 geared, white wheels and automatic transmission. Out of the 734 Saleens produced in 1989 only 10 cars were built with the automatic transmission making this pretty rare.
The paint is all original except for the rear hatch and the aftermarket hood. The front spoiler does have a little road rash at the bottom. The paint overall is in great condition. The carpet, seats, door panels and rear hatch are very clean and show no signs of wear. The Saleen console I.D. plate is missing and the Saleen badge is not installed but is included in the sale.
Power windows, locks, mirrors and factory Saleen radio all works. The engine has been modified with Holley heads and intake. The cam is E303 from Ford performance. The car also has a fresh tune up including plugs, wires and Ford cap and rotor. The cold air and 70mm throttle body are from BBK. The shorty style headers are from Ford Performance. The H-pipe is from BBK and the cat back is from Flowmaster and is a 2 1/2″ stainless steel system with 0 miles.
The transmission is stock with a B&M shifter. The stock shifter is included with the sale of the car. The brakes front and rear including the rear end were all removed cleaned, blasted, primed, painted and detailed and reinstalled. The struts and shocks were replaced at that time and have 0 miles.
The original parts included with the sale are the following. Stock E7 heads, stock upper and lower intakes, stock T/B, mass air, air box, tubes, stock headers, shifter and the hood.
