CHROME MOLLY 351 LANDS AT CAMPBELL FORD

Words cannot accurately describe this one-off custom 2014 Saleen 351 Extreme. This car is much different, more Extreme, than anything yet from Steve Saleen. For starters this car began life as a 2014 Shelby GT500. From this starting point Steve Saleen and his team worked their magic. What exists now is a 700HP masterpiece. It is the only one like it in the world. Painted with custom Steve Saleen designed and created ChromeMolly Metallic paint. Saleen designed Supercharger helping the 351 block put out 700HP. Saleen designed Red Butterfly Induction Hood. Custom Saleen black leather and Alcantera interior. Incredible glass scenic roof. It feels like you are outside but are safely protected from the 200 mph wind elements! This car is personally signed by Steve Saleen on the dash. This is truly a one of a kind super car. List price is $55,445 for the Shelby GT 500 base car plus $118,235 for the Saleen 351 Extreme transformation for an MSRP of $173,680. But as a long time Saleen dealer we are offering this one of a kind car for considerably less than MSRP.

This quote is from Derek Hall, Saleen Sales Director: “The reason we started with the SVT was due to the fact ford was not selling the 5.8 block yet. We needed the block to build our engine. You will actually have a very limited production 351, all the rest have been built from the base GT platform. There are only two cars built this way, yours and a private customer.”

This car is the ONLY car to have started as a GT 500 and be painted in a custom Saleen color. Bumper number 14 was specially reserved for this car to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Mustang. And because 2014 is the last year of this flavor of Mustang. 2015 brings a more homogenized, smaller “world” Mustang. It will be sold world wide and will lose much of what makes Mustang so prized in the United States.

1993 MUSTANG GX 01. Fox Body fans pay attention here! This is an all original dealer prepared car. Built by John Bleakley Ford in Lithia Springs Georgia and completely prepared to be a Saleen killer. This is number one of four uniquely serialized 1993 Mustang GX cars built before Ford asked them to cease production.

I went into the dealership and drove one of the new 1993 Cobra Mustangs and was left with a feeling of disappointment over all of the hype. The Cobra Mustang felt very under-powered and gave me no inspiration for the purchase. The salesman then talked me into a test drive of their GX beast and I had to have it. Feels like the power of an old school big block drag car!

This Mustang GX model is adorned in a rare and unique reef blue color that was a special order option and was assigned with Ford limited edition serialization. It has a host of Ford SVO Motorsport off road racing components such as K302 big valve aluminum high flow and o-ringed heads, B303 roller cam, SVO roller rockers, SVO HD pushrods, GT40 intake, 30 pound injectors, 190 lph fuel pump, SVO 65mm throttle body, Pro-M 77mm mass airflow meter, heavy duty radiator, engine oil cooler, long tube headers, and Paxton supercharger with fluid cooler.

A full competition suspension upgrade that includes Racecraft Saleen edition springs, Racecraft subframe connectors, Racecraft upper and lower chassis braces, Racecraft interior roll cage, Koni gas adjust shocks, struts,and horizontal dampers. Hurst short throw shifter, Motorsports Cobra clutch, Motorsport aluminum driveshaft, Global West Traclink and tubular lower control arms, 3:55 Traction Loc differential, and SVO Motorsports 4 wheel disc brakes round out the handling and help plant the power.

Saleen Autosports aerodynamic body kit including competition design wing, front air dam, rear valence, side skirts, and NASA air induction hood provide the race inspired looks.

All of these modifications were done by the dealer and sold through Ford Financing as a new car with factory warranties. Over $10k in upgrades were added to the original sticker price of the car before final delivery. Has well over 450 horses and handling to boot. The 1993 Mustang GX, what a ride! This car is in show room new condition and has only 8k original miles, all original paperwork, widow sticker, and one original owner.

1996 Ford Windstar Saleen prototype 1 of 1 formally owned by Tim Allen

This is a prototype Saleen, 1 of 1 ever built that was just released from the collection of the original owner and Hollywood star, Tim Allen. Saleen, along with Tim Allen, were going to make a limited edition, performance minivan that would be available at select California Ford Dealers. After this first “ultimate minivan” was built, the idea was dropped.

There are many one of a kind features on this van including a special “wide body” kit to accommodate the extra wide rear wheels, which were needed to maintain traction from the power of the supercharged engine. Special ground effects, rear spoiler, scooped hood, air dam, carbon fiber mirrors plus more. Besides the supercharged engine that was dressed with carbon fiber accessories, the brakes were also upgraded to 4 wheel disc and a set of light weight aluminum Saleen designed wheels were added.

The interior received a complete makeover as well. All leather with swiveling captains chairs and a rear bench seat, rear fold away snack table, two fold down TVs plus a 3rd tv / back-up camera in the rear-view mirror, dvd player, cd stereo with amp and sub woofers, white faced Saleen gauges and carbon fiber accessories.

Documented with a carfax, title from Tim Allen’s production company as well as Tim Allen’s signature on the dash. 38k miles and all of them were put on during Allen’s ownership.

SALEEN XP MOUNTAINEER FOR SALE

This was Saleen’s “feasibility study” for the Mercury market and was a project vehicle featured in two issues with Truckin’ Magazine’s Bob McClurg, and is a unique part of Saleen history.

New tires, brakes, and Bilstein shocks, this has been a trusted daily driver for McClurg. Includes loads of documentation and photos, plus copies of the Truckin’ articles.

Supercharger was rebuilt at about 100,000 miles. Current mileage is about 134,000.

This vehicle does not have a Saleen VIN, but does have plenty of Saleen heritage.

Vehicle has lived in Southern California its is located in North Hollywood, California.
